TITAN CMS - Use Multi Edit

The Content Edit Pane allows a user to change multiple items at the same time when the same change is needed for all items selected, this is Multi Edit.  The exception is multi edit is not allowed for content.

Overview

The Content Edit Pane allows a user to change multiple items at the same time when the same change is needed for all items selected, this is Multi Edit.  The exception is multi edit is not allowed for content.   Version History and Notes will not be available they are specific to an item.

Steps
  1. Multi Edit Globe/Pages:
    1. Select a Globe/Pages in the Left Navigation Tree.  The results of the Globe/Pages will be displayed.
    2. Check the Edit Full Result Set if All results will be edited.
    3. If only a select few will be edited, check each individual checkbox per page.
    4. Make changes.
  2. Multi Edit Files/Images:
    1. Select a File Folder in the Left Navigation Tree.  The results of the File Folder will be displayed.
    2. Check the Edit Full Result Set if All results will be edited.
    3. If only a select few will be edited, check each individual checkbox per file
    4. Make changes.
  3. Multi Edit Events:
    1. Select a Event database in the Left Navigation Tree.  The results of the Events will be displayed.
    2. Check the Edit Full Result Set if All results will be edited.
    3. If only a select few will be edited, check each individual checkbox per event.
    4. Make changes.
  4. Multi Edit Products:
    1. Select a Product database in the Left Navigation Tree.  The results of the Products will be displayed.
    2. Check the Edit Full Result Set if All results will be edited.
    3. If only a select few will be edited, check each individual checkbox per product.
    4. Make changes.
  5. Click Save or Publish from the Page Action Bar to retain changes.

Log in to the workstation:

  1. Enter your TitanCMS URL in a browser address bar.  The Titan log in will display.
  2. Enter your User Name in the User Name field.
  3. Enter your Password in the Password field.
  4. Click Log In.  The TitanCMS application will open to the Web Content Management Module.

Find an existing item in the Nav Tree: 

  1. To expand the node in the tree, use the "+" 
  2. To minimize the node in the tree, use the "-"  
  3. To select the item to work with,  click on the item in the tree.  The item will become highlighted & the item and it's children will appear in the Browse Screen.
