TITAN CMS - "Remember" User Interface

The content picker now retains information about your last use to improve efficiency when performing repetitive linking/picking tasks per browser.  Some browsers may behave differently and if you clear cache/history or select Reset the remembered state will be cleared*.

Overview

The content picker now retains information about your last use to improve efficiency when performing repetitive linking/picking tasks per browser.  Some browsers may behave differently and if you clear cache/history or select Reset the remembered state will be cleared*.

Information:

  1. Sort is not a remembered state.
  2. The remembered state isn't remembered between TitanCMS workstation and Data Editor on website.
  3. Login determines remembered state, different users can have their own remembered state.
  4. *IE 11 does not clear remembered state through deleting cache/history.
  5.  When the tree is open the search is looking for an item in the tree, not right pane of results.  If found, the tree node gets selected.  When you re-open, it should come back to that node in the tree, but the search text will not be stored.
  6.  If performing a search when the tree is closed, the search term is saved so it can be reapplied on next open.
  7. When retaining the ‘External’ Link Tab or ‘Email’ Link Tab, the prior inputs are to be removed
  8. The old File Picker screens (Titan Admin) do not use Remember UI state. Those that are older open to “List View (URL)” by default.
  9. Retained:
    1.   View type
    2.   Tree open/close
    3.   Search text *closed tree
  10. Not Retained:
    1. Filter Type
    2. Filter Date
