Overview

Like the Teaser Image, the Banner Image allows you to link an image file with your content page. Whereas, the Teaser Image is used by multiple blocks including the TOC and Filter Blocks, the Banner Image is currently only used by the Banner Display styles in the Filter Block.

The Banner Image differs from the Teaser Image in that you do not choose an image size, the size is chosen by the Filter Block style. Teaser Images are most often thumbnails that appear next to text; Banner Images are larger images, often shown full display width in lieu of text.

Cascading Style Sheets control what is displayed, how the filmstrip appears and if pieces of the banner fade in/out.

*Note:  See designer for use of the Jquery configuration that now replaces banner configuration.
