TITAN CMS - Add User

Overview

Users may be added directly through the TitanCMS workstation using the User Management module.  The file folder that is automatically added will occur after their first login to workstation.  Workstation users can be configured to access the workstation in 2 different views with access to Workstation &/or Display:

Full User - full access of workstation.

Reduced User - limited access of workstation.

Workstation & Display User - Check checkbox for Workstation Access.

Display User (Not Workstation) - Uncheck checkbox allow Display Access only *Dependent on Security group assignment.

Steps

Add a Full User:  

 

  1. Select the User Management module.
  2. Click on the New Icon (above) in the Page Action Bar.
  3. Enter the User CN (Login) in the dialog box.
  4. Enter Initial Password (same password) in both fields in the dialog box.
  5. Click the "OK" button.  Your user will be listed on the dashboard.
  6. Check the box for user you added.
  7. Click on Account Information.
  8. Scroll to Preference level (bottom of screen)
  9. Default value is Full.  *If Reduced is selected, select Full and Save from the Page Action Bar.

Add a Reduced User: 

  1. Select the User Management module.
  2. Click on the New Icon (above) in the Page Action Bar.
  3. Enter the User CN (Login) in the dialog box.
  4. Enter Initial Password (same password) in both fields in the dialog box.
  5. Click the "OK" button.  Your user will be listed on the dashboard.
  6. Check the box for user you added.
  7. Click on Account Information.
  8. Scroll to Preference level (bottom of screen)
  9. Select Reduced.  Default value is Full.
  10. Click Save from the Page Action Bar to retain changes.

Log in to the workstation:

  1. Enter your TitanCMS URL in a browser address bar.
  2. The Titan Login screen will appear.
  3. Enter your User Name in the User Name field.
  4. Enter your Password in the Password field.
  5. Click Log In.  The TitanCMS application should open to the Titan Web Content Management Module.
