TITAN CMS - Change Theme

Changing a Theme allows you to update the look of your website.  Prior page layouts and content will need to be mapped based on the new themes layouts.

Overview

Changing a Theme allows you to update the look of your website.  Prior page layouts and content will need to be mapped based on the new themes layouts.  A Theme provides the style and navigation and is a collection of page layouts and CSS files.  A given site has one and only one theme assigned.

Steps

  1. Select the Titan Administration module.
  2. Click the + for Content Sites.  *A list of Content Sites will display.
  3. Click the + for the Content Site you will be changing it's Theme.
  4. Click the Theme icon.  *the Active Site Theme information will display in the right pane.
  5. Click the Change Theme button.
  6. Select radio button for desired Theme.
  7. Click Next to continue Theme Change or Cancel to stop.
  8. Click the Map Layout link for a page layout.  *Mapping will allow you to indicate which new Theme page layout to use.
  9. Complete the Map Layout for all page layouts.
  10. Click Map Content Zones.  *Mapping will allow you to indicate similar or different content zone to display in.  If new doesn't have the same zones, you may map to different zone or let it be removed.
  11. Click Finish when all page layouts and content zones are mapped.  *A list of changes will provided.  Make a screen shot or copy this information as a reference if desired, it will not be available after change is completed.
  12. Click Refresh Site State to refresh the workstation.

Log in to the workstation:

  1. Enter your TitanCMS URL in a browser address bar.
  2. The Titan Login screen will appear.
  3. Enter your User Name in the User Name field.
  4. Enter your Password in the Password field.
  5. Click Log In.  The TitanCMS application should open to the Titan Web Content Management Module.
