TITAN CMS - Tags & User Preferences

The tags you configure on the registration block will allow a user to select their preference.  Users on the website can indicate during the registration process, the content they prefer by selecting one or more of the tags.  After a user logs in to website, the items that have been tagged on secured pages, will display.

 

Overview

The tags you configure on the registration block will allow a user to select their preference.  Users on the website can indicate during the registration process, the content they prefer by selecting one or more of the tags.  After a user logs in to website, the items that have been tagged on secured pages, will display.

Steps

  1. Add tags in Titan Administration module.
  2. Activate the added tags for globe/site, file and/or event.
  3. Assign the tags to your content, files and/or events.  *Content could also be secured and not display for everyone.
  4. Build a filter and/or calendar block using the same tags that you will use on the registration block.
  5. Build a registration block for your site using the same tags you used in step 4 for the filter or calendar block.
  6. Build a login block for your website.
  7. Complete the registration form on your website, include selecting a sample of the tags.
  8. Login on your website.  *Assumes user is confirmed and approved.
  9. Go to website page with filter and/or calendar and view your preferences.
Prerequisite Steps
 

Log in to the workstation:

  1. Enter your TitanCMS URL in a browser address bar.
  2. The Titan Login screen will appear.
  3. Enter your User Name in the User Name field.
  4. Enter your Password in the Password field.
  5. Click Log In.  The TitanCMS application should open to the Titan Web Content Management Module.
