TITAN CMS - General Index Information

General Index Information includes Document Roots to Index, Index Name, Index Type and Index Description. 

Overview

As of v6.8 Search Indexes have been moved into the new Smart Search module under the Admin section.  General Index Information includes Document Roots to Index, Index Name, Index Type and Index Description.

Steps (v6.8 and future versions)

  1. Select the Smart Search module.
  2. Select Index.
  3. Select Admin.
  4. Make the following General Index Information selections:
    1. Select the Document Root to Index.
    2. Enter a Index Name.
    3. Select an Index Type.
    4. Enter a Description.
    5. Links to Associated jobs will be listed or will still need to be configured in Titan Admin module for Create Index and Update Index.
Steps (v6.7 and prior versions)

  1. Select the Titan Administration module.
  2. Expand the Search Indexes.
  3. Click on the sub task.
  4. Make the following General Index Information selections:
    1. Select the Document Root to Index.
    2. Enter a Index Name.
    3. Select an Index Type.
    4. Enter a Description.
    5. Review Associated jobs.
  5. Click Save from the Page Action Bar to retain changes, or continue.
  6. After Save, click Refresh Site State.
Prerequisite Steps
 

Log in to the workstation:

  1. Enter your TitanCMS URL in a browser address bar.
  2. The Titan Login screen will appear.
  3. Enter your User Name in the User Name field.
  4. Enter your Password in the Password field.
  5. Click Log In.  The TitanCMS application should open to the Titan Web Content Management Module.
