TITAN CMS - Search Indexes

Version 6.8 Index found in Smart Search Module - Admin

Version 6.7 and prior Search Index found in Titan Administration module

As of v6.8 the Search Indexes have been moved into the new Smart Search Module.  Search Indexes create and maintain full text indexes of documents and data.  Anything that contains text can be indexed, even databases. It handles very large collections of documents.  *Documents are indexed (based on scheduler) weekly [all documents in selection are re-indexed– function “create index”] and daily [function “update index”].  Update only add documents, doesn’t remove documents which were included by “Create Index”.  If you “uncheck” indexing on the document(s), it will stay in the index until new “create index” is run.

Please wait while we gather your results.

dtSearch Index

The dtSearch index when used in Titan instance for search results, uses the dtSearch Index scheduled job which needs to run after new information is added or changed. The full content search picks up words from the "properties" fields, and content (either in the page/event/product, or in the document if it's in the file pile). Both metadata fields and full content sections that are added or changed, require the dtsearch index job to be run. Run the "Create" job for new items. The "Disk Refresh" should not be run at the same time you are running a job. One job should be run at time.
