TITAN CMS - dtSearch Index

The dtSearch index when used in Titan instance for search results, uses the dtSearch Index scheduled job which needs to run after new information is added or changed.

Overview

The dtSearch index when used in Titan instance for search results, uses the dtSearch Index scheduled job which needs to run after new information is added or changed.   The full content search picks up words from the "properties" fields, and content (either in the page/event/product, or in the document if it's in the file pile).   Both metadata fields and full content sections that are added or changed, require the dtsearch index job to be run.      Run the "Create" job for new items added or items are deleted, run the "Update" job for information updates.  The "Disk Refresh" should not be run at the same time you are running a job.  Only one job should be run at time.

  1. Select the Titan Administration module.
  2. Expand the Scheduled Jobs in the left navigation tree.
