TITAN CMS - Add dtSearch Index-Update Job

Configure the Update job associated to using dtSearch in the Titan Administration module.  Update only adds indexed documents, the job doesn’t remove documents which were included by “Create Index”.  To remove items no longer indexed but had been picked up in a previous job, run the Create Index Job.

Configure the Update job associated to using dtSearch in the Titan Administration module.  Set the desired job parameters.

Note:  Update only adds indexed documents, the job doesn’t remove documents which were included by “Create Index”.  To remove items no longer indexed but had been picked up in a previous job, run the Create Index Job.

 

Steps

  1. Select the Titan Administration module.
  2. Scroll to Scheduled Jobs and expand.
  3. Select dtSearch Index.
  4. Add New by selecting New from page action bar.
  5. Enter job name Example: "Create Default Index for TitanCMS - Documentation"
  6. Select OK.
  7. Configure right pane:
    1. Schedule to Run
    2. Run Every ___
    3. Start Date
    4. Start Time
    5. Job Name
    6. Job Type
    7. Description
    8. Associated Index
    9. XML Configuration

Log in to the workstation:

  1. Enter your TitanCMS URL in a browser address bar.
  2. The Titan Login screen will appear.
  3. Enter your User Name in the User Name field.
  4. Enter your Password in the Password field.
  5. Click Log In.  The TitanCMS application should open to the Titan Web Content Management Module.
