Audit This Site is a property that can be used by administrators to override an author's request for page auditing by disabling auditing for all pages within a given site.

Overview

Audit This Site is a property that can be used by administrators to override an author's request for page auditing by disabling auditing for all pages within a given site.

Steps
  1. Select the Titan Administration module.
  2. Click + for File Piles in left navigation tree.
  3. Click your File Pile folder.  *The right pane details for the file pile will display.
  4. Scroll to Audit This Site.
  5. Select one of the following:
    1. Enabled (Full Data)
    2. Enabled (Minimal Data)
    3. Disabled
  6. Review additional information:
    1. Enabling auditing at this level gives audit control to the authors. For auditing of a page to occur, the author must set the Audit Flag Property.
    2. Disabling auditing at this level will disable auditing for all pages on the site, regardless of the page's Audit Flag Property.
    3. When logging audit information you have to options:
      1. Minimal Data stores only the following information: who clicked (UserCN and IP only), when they clicked, were they allowed to click and some very basic CMS Item information (DocID, Version, Time to Render). This stores around 100 bytes for every logged user action.
      2. Full Data stores the full range of user information. In addition to the Minimal Data, Titan stores the full HTTP record (full query string, server information, etc). This option stores upwards of 8K of data for every user action. If you are running SQL Express, you should not select this option. No Titan system queries use this data--all Titan queries are run over the minimal data set.
  7. Click Save from the Page Action Bar to retain changes.
  8. Click Refresh Site State.
