TITAN CMS - Update Stored Procedure

The Update Stored Procedure is called when your data element is being updated.  The stored procedure name must begin with the prefix userDef_. At the time your Create Stored Procedure is called, records will exist in the standard Titan tables.

The Update Stored Procedure is called when your data element is being updated.  The stored procedure name must begin with the prefix userDef_. At the time your Create Stored Procedure is called, records will exist in the standard Titan tables.

Steps
  1. Select the Titan Administration module.
  2. Click + for Data Sites in left navigation tree.
  3. Click your Event database.  *The right pane details for the event database will display.
  4. Scroll to Update Stored Procedure.
  5. Enter the Update Stored Procedure.  *The default value   userDef_EventUpdate

The stored procedure name must begin with the prefix userDef_. At the time your Create Stored Procedure is called, records will exist in the standard Titan tables.

Arguments:

@eventID UNIQUEIDENTIFIER can be used to register the save event with internal_WriteWorkstationAuditEvent

@userCN XML is the workstation user performing the update. Security has already been verified. This is only for references.

@docsXml is standard XML of the format:

 <Docs> <DocID Version="##">##</DocID> </Docs>

 

@dataToSave XML is the data to save. Your data is in the node <Data><Content>...your data...</Content></Data>

There should be no return value.

 

  6.  Click Save from the Page Action Bar to retain changes.

  7.  Click Refresh Site State.

Prerequisite Steps
 

Log in to the workstation:

  1. Enter your TitanCMS URL in a browser address bar.
  2. The Titan Login screen will appear.
  3. Enter your User Name in the User Name field.
  4. Enter your Password in the Password field.
  5. Click Log In.  The TitanCMS application should open to the Titan Web Content Management Module.
