TITAN CMS - Read (SQL) Function

The Read (SQL) Function is called when a single instance of your data type is being extracted for edit in the workstation or when a single instance of your data item is being displayed.

The Read (SQL) Function is called when a single instance of your data type is being extracted for edit in the workstation or when a single instance of your data item is being displayed.

Steps
  1. Select the Titan Administration module.
  2. Click + for Data Sites in left navigation tree.
  3. Click your Event database.  *The right pane details for the event database will display.
  4. Scroll to Read (SQL) Function.
  5. Enter the Read (SQL) Function.  *Default value is   userDef_EventRead
    1. The SQL function must begin with the prefix userDef_
    2. Arguments:

@docsXml XML is a list of the documents being requested. Security has already been verified. The XML format is:

<Docs>

<DocID Version="##">##</DocID>

</Docs>

 The return value should be an XML document, the format, of which is data-specific.

   6.  Click Save from the Page Action Bar to retain changes.

   7.  Click Refresh Site State.

Prerequisite Steps
 

Log in to the workstation:

  1. Enter your TitanCMS URL in a browser address bar.
  2. The Titan Login screen will appear.
  3. Enter your User Name in the User Name field.
  4. Enter your Password in the Password field.
  5. Click Log In.  The TitanCMS application should open to the Titan Web Content Management Module.
