TITAN CMS - Copy Stored Procedure

The Copy Stored Procedure is called when a copy of your data element is required. The stored procedure name must begin with the prefix userDef_. At the time your Copy Stored Procedure is called, records will exist in the standard Titan tables for the new version. Your stored procedure needs to only copy the data specific to your type.

The Copy Stored Procedure is called when a copy of your data element is required. The stored procedure name must begin with the prefix userDef_. At the time your Copy Stored Procedure is called, records will exist in the standard Titan tables for the new version. Your stored procedure needs to only copy the data specific to your type.

Steps
  1. Select the Titan Administration module.
  2. Click + for Data Sites in left navigation tree.
  3. Click your Event database.  *The right pane details for the event database will display.
  4. Scroll to Copy Stored Procedure.
  5. Enter the Copy Stored Procedure.  *The default value is  userDef_EventCopyVersion

The stored procedure name must begin with the prefix userDef_. At the time your Copy Stored Procedure is called, records will exist in the standard Titan tables for the new version. Your stored procedure needs to only copy the data specific to your type.

Note that you receive both the DocID and Version for the new version. During versioning, the DestDocID will match the DocID; they will differ during a copyTo operation.

Arguments:

@docsXml XML is slightly modified version of the standard Docs XML:

 

 <Docs> <DocID SourceVersion="##" DestDocID="##" DestVersion="##">##</DocID> </Docs>

 

@args XML contains any copy arguments. This will be null during versioning. During a CopyTo it will be:

 

 <Args> <Linked>0|1</Linked> </Args>

 

There should be no return value.

  6.  Click Save from the Page Action Bar to retain changes.

  7.  Click Refresh Site State.

Prerequisite Steps
 

Log in to the workstation:

  1. Enter your TitanCMS URL in a browser address bar.
  2. The Titan Login screen will appear.
  3. Enter your User Name in the User Name field.
  4. Enter your Password in the Password field.
  5. Click Log In.  The TitanCMS application should open to the Titan Web Content Management Module.
