TITAN CMS - Captcha Processor

Captcha Processor is a  type of challenge-response test used on the website on such things as forms or where users enter information, to ensure that the response is not generated by a computer.

Captcha Processor is a  type of challenge-response test used on the website on such things as forms or where users enter information, to ensure that the response is not generated by a computer.

Steps
  1. Select the Titan Administration module.
  2. Click + for Data Sites in left navigation tree.
  3. Click your Event database.  *The right pane details for the event database will display.
  4. Scroll to Captcha Processor.
  5. Open another browser and go to the reCaptcha Site.  *Login or create a login.
    1. Enter your Domain (URL) without the http://    *Follow captcha site's instructions to get Public & Private Key.
    2. Copy the Public Key and enter it into the TitanCMS Workstation, in the Titan Administration module under the website's Captcha Config XML field.
    3. Copy the Private Key and enter it into the TitanCMS Workstation, in the Titan Administration module under the website's Captcha Config XML field.Example:   <PublicKey> your number copied here</PublicKey>                                            <PrivateKey> your number copied here</PrivateKey>
  6. Enter the Captcha Processor  *The use of a Captcha processor is used to reduce the amount of spam for website forms (particularly comments). Provide here the captcha processor that will be called to validate the user response to the captcha request. Your Captcha Processor must implement ICaptchaSupport. The default value for Recaptcha (http://recaptcha.net) is NorthwoodsSoftwareDevelopment.Cms.Display.RecaptchaSupport, UISupport.  Use of Captcha outside of Content sites is rare.
  7. Click Save from the Page Action Bar to retain changes.
  8. Click Refresh Site State.
Prerequisite Steps
 

Log in to the workstation:

  1. Enter your TitanCMS URL in a browser address bar.
  2. The Titan Login screen will appear.
  3. Enter your User Name in the User Name field.
  4. Enter your Password in the Password field.
  5. Click Log In.  The TitanCMS application should open to the Titan Web Content Management Module.
