TITAN CMS - Unapproved Comments & Ratings

Overview

Unapproved comments and ratings will not display on your website.  Comments and ratings may be configured so that they are required to be manually processed.  When processed, if you desire to retain the comment but not approve it to display on your website, the comment status may be set to unapproved.

Steps
  1. Select the Commenting Workstation module.  *The list of pending comments, the default view, will display.
  2. Review the pending comments and ratings which are ready for you to set to be:
    1. Approved
    2. Unapproved
    3. Deleted
    4. Featured
  3. Process your individual comments and ratings:
    1. Approve - click button under comment to approve this comment.
    2. Unapproved - click button under comment to unapproved this comment.
    3. Feature - click button under comment to feature this comment.
    4. Delete - click button under comment to delete this comment.
  4. Process All comments and ratings with one action through Global Actions:
    1. Approve All - All pending comments will be approved.
    2. Unapproved All - All pending comments will be unapproved.
    3. Feature All - All pending comments will be featured.
    4. Delete All - All pending comments will be deleted.
  5. Click Save or Publish from the Page Action Bar to retain changes.
  6. View the processed comments and ratings, select from the first drop down:
    1. Approved
    2. Unapproved
    3. Featured
    4. All Comments
      1. Click link for Return to Dashboard to move back to dashboard. *If pending comments were processed, the pending comments list will have been removed on the dashboard.
  7. From the Dashboard, if you desire to move back to the Commenting Workstation module, you can either use the TitanCMS Module Selector or the Dashboard - Pending Comments  Go to Comments link.  You will be taken to the Commenting Workstation Pending Comments display.

Prerequisite Steps
 

Log in to the workstation:

  1. Enter your TitanCMS URL in a browser address bar.
  2. The Titan Login screen will appear.
  3. Enter your User Name in the User Name field.
  4. Enter your Password in the Password field.
  5. Click Log In.  The TitanCMS application should open to the Titan Web Content Management Module.
