TITAN CMS - LdapAuthentication Type

Global Parameters - AD/AM and SQL Config

Overview

The LdapAuthenticationType entry is the DirectoryServices.AuthenticationType -- None (0) if no SSL is involved.  Currently only 0 is supported as a remote ADAM installation is not recommended.

Steps
  1. Select the Titan Administration module.
  2. Click and expand Global Parameters in the left navigation tree.
  3. Click AD/AM and SQL Config.  A list will display in the right pane.
  4. Click + for LdapAuthenticationType
  5. Review:
    1. Description - DirectoryServices.AuthenticationType -- None (0) if no SSL is involved.  Currently only 0 is supported as a remote ADAM installation is not recommended
    2. Parameter Value - 0
    3. Accessible by Site Display and Workstation - Yes or No. 
  6. Click Save from the Page Action Bar to retain change.
  7. Click Refresh Site State from the Page Action Bar.
Prerequisite Steps
 

Log in to the workstation:

  1. Enter your TitanCMS URL in a browser address bar.
  2. The Titan Login screen will appear.
  3. Enter your User Name in the User Name field.
  4. Enter your Password in the Password field.
  5. Click Log In.  The TitanCMS application should open to the Titan Web Content Management Module.
